TERMS & CONDITIONS
Terms and Conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully, as they form the binding agreement (referred to as the “Contract”) between you (“you” or “your”) and
Celebrity Booker (“Celebrity Booker,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting your application to register as an artiste with Celebrity Booker, you agree to be bound by this Contract. If you do not understand any part of this agreement or your accompanying guide, please contact us.
Important: This is not an exclusive contract. You are free to work with other companies, including other agencies.
2. Guide Updates
We may update our artiste guide periodically to reflect production company requirements. Please check the guide regularly.
3. How to Apply
You may apply to be included in our electronic casting book (the “Casting Book”) by submitting the online application form. You must provide complete and accurate information, including three recent photographs (taken within the last six months), referred to as “your details.”
By applying, you confirm the following:
-
You agree to be bound by this Contract and will follow all instructions from Celebrity Booker staff or the artiste guide.
-
You have no unspent criminal convictions, except for driving-related offences, and are not listed on the Sex Offenders Register.
-
You agree to cooperate with any production company request for a criminal record check.
-
You are either not allergic to makeup or prosthetics or have disclosed such allergies to us in writing.
-
You confirm there are no relevant medical or personal facts that could impact your work or the safety of others unless disclosed in writing.
-
You have the legal right to work in the UK.
-
You consent to the use of your details (including photographs) in our Casting Book, website, marketing materials, and for submission to production companies and other clients. You also consent to be contacted regarding bookings and related services.
4. Registration
-
You will not be officially registered until we receive all required documents (e.g., valid photographic ID, Basic DBS check, and right to work evidence).
-
Submission of an application does not guarantee inclusion in our Casting Book. We reserve the right to reject or remove applicants at our sole discretion, at which point this Contract will terminate.
-
Once registered, you authorise Celebrity Booker to share your details with vetted third parties (e.g., casting professionals).
5. Post-Approval Requirements
-
After receiving your approval email, you must submit a copy of your passport or work permit. You cannot be booked or paid without this. Failure to provide this within 30 days may result in removal from the Casting Book.
-
Approved profiles are valid for 12 months from the approval date. We may contact you before expiry regarding renewal.
6. Representation
-
By accepting your application, you appoint Celebrity Booker as your agent to find work (including acting, modelling, extra work, etc.) in line with this Contract.
-
You are not an employee or contractor of Celebrity Booker.
7. No Guarantee of Work
While we aim to find work for all registered artistes, we cannot guarantee any bookings.
8. Your Details & Data Privacy
-
You are responsible for the accuracy and currency of your information. You can update your details by contacting us.
-
Physical descriptions and measurements must be accurate. Incorrect details may result in cancellation or non-payment.
-
Bank account details must be correct. We are not responsible for payments made to outdated accounts.
-
If we reject your application, we may retain your details for up to three years and may contact you with ad hoc opportunities.
-
Under the Data Protection Act 1998 (and any subsequent legislation), we are the data controller of your information. We will use it only in accordance with this Contract and legal obligations.
-
Where you consent, we may pass your details to third parties for promotional purposes.
-
We may archive your information for up to three years after removal from the Casting Book.
-
This section remains in effect after contract expiry or termination.

Profile access is limited to vetted casting professionals via secure login.
If your payment method expires or is invalid at renewal, we will contact you to update it.
Fees are subject to change at any time.
Discounts or offers will be confirmed in writing.
Cancellations must be emailed to info@celebritybookeruk.com with 30 days’ notice. No other method is accepted.
We reserve the right to amend these terms or withdraw offers at any time. Continued use of our services implies agreement to updated terms.
10. Commission
We deduct a 12% commission (plus VAT) from all fees you receive for work secured through Celebrity Booker.
11. Bookings
-
You may decline a booking. If you accept, you must keep the entire day free, even if the job covers only part of the day.
-
If you can no longer attend a confirmed booking, you must notify your Celebrity Booker contact immediately. Failure to attend without good reason may lead to removal from our Casting Book.
-
Production companies may cancel bookings up until 5:30 pm the day before. We will notify you promptly.
-
If you do not reconfirm availability by 6 pm the day before, we may replace you.
12. On-Set Conduct
-
Your engagement is subject to the production company’s terms. You may or may not be asked to sign a contract with them.
-
You must arrive by your scheduled call time. Lateness may result in non-payment.
-
On set or while being transported by the production company, you must:
-
Be professional and courteous
-
Not take photographs or record audio/video
-
Follow all rules and instructions

Inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from set and our Casting Book.
13. Insurance & Liability
-
Celebrity Booker is not responsible for injuries, losses, or thefts on set unless due to our negligence.
-
The production company is responsible for personal injury insurance.
14. Release Forms
You may be required to sign a release form to permit use of your image. We are authorised to sign this on your behalf if necessary to ensure payment.
15. Complaints
If issues arise on set, contact Celebrity Booker directly — not the production company — unless there’s an immediate safety concern.
16. Confidentiality
All bookings are confidential. You must not:
-
Take photos or make recordings on set
-
Speak to the media about your work
-
Post anything online (including on social media) about productions
Breaching this clause will result in removal from our Casting Book.

-
We will pay you via BACS within 10 working days of receipt (typically 6 weeks post-booking).
-
Remittance statements are sent by email only.
-
We are not liable if a production company fails to pay. We will pursue them on your behalf, including legal action if needed.
-
If you receive payment directly, we are entitled to invoice you for our commission.
18. Chits & Overtime
-
Most productions issue daily salary vouchers (“chits”) that you must get signed and return to the production team. Keep a copy as proof.
-
If no chit is provided, you must keep your own record of times/dates worked. Overtime must be reported to us by the next day.
19. Tax & National Insurance
-
You are self-employed and responsible for your own tax and National Insurance.
-
As of 6 April 2014, Class 1 NI is no longer deducted. You must pay Class 2 and Class 4 contributions.
-
You may be exempt from NI if of retirement age with a valid exemption certificate.
20. Termination
-
This contract expires automatically 24 months from the approval date. We may contact you about renewal.
-
You may cancel at any time with 30 days’ written notice. Either party may terminate for breach.
-
Upon termination, you will be removed from the Casting Book. We will still process outstanding payments due for prior bookings.
21. General
-
You may not assign or transfer your rights under this contract.
-
We may vary this contract with 30 days’ written notice.
-
If any clause is found to be invalid, the remainder remains enforceable.
-
This contract does not create employment, partnership, or joint venture between you and us.
-
We may set off any debts owed by you against future payments.
-
Only you and we have rights under this contract.
